Primary Job Function

To be a working Foreman who can think ahead on a project while efficiently laying out day to day tasks for team members and ordering material prior to needing it on a job. Assisting in installation of new plumbing rough-ins and maintaining existing plumbing systems. Demonstrating continual growth and understanding of the plumbing trade while retaining the training and knowledge taught. Teaching team members under your supervision correct plumbing practice and construction skills.

Qualifications/Experience

7+ years commercial plumbing with experience running work

The Plumbing Installation Supervisor ensures the successful execution of plumbing installation projects by managing field teams, overseeing quality and safety, and coordinating resources. This role emphasizes mentoring installers, maintaining high standards, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Installation Coordinator to create and adjust daily and weekly schedules.
Allocate and order manpower, tools, equipment, and materials to ensure smooth project execution.

Primary Job Function

The Installation Manager oversees all plumbing and HVAC installation operations, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. This role is responsible for driving department productivity by ensuring a steady flow of work, collaborating with the Service & Maintenance team to identify and close leads, and training staff to recognize additional sales opportunities. The Installation Manager leads installation supervisors, coordinates with other departments, and ensures alignment with company goals, profitability, and operational excellence.

Work Hours

7:00am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday, with some weekends and evenings required.

Essential Functions

Lead, mentor, and hold accountable the Plumbing and HVAC Installation Supervisors and Coordinators.
Oversee the performance and development of installation teams, ensuring alignment with company goals.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback for team improvement.
Train team members to identify and act on sales opportunities that may have been missed during the initial sales process.
Support supervisors in resolving complex technical and customer service challenges.
Monitor daily and weekly schedules to ensure efficient resource allocation and adherence to timelines.
Collaborate with supervisors and coordinators to address resource shortages, scheduling conflicts, and project delays.
Work with Installation Supervisors to ensure all materials, tools, and equipment are procured and ready for deployment.
Conduct field visits to observe project progress and address issues proactively.
Work closely with Home Comfort Advisors (HCAs) and service technicians to identify and close leads when needed.
Collaborate with the Service and Maintenance Manager to ensure a steady flow of leads from the service department.
Develop strategies to maintain consistent department productivity and ensure the team stays busy.
Train team members to identify upselling opportunities during installations.
Identify inefficiencies in installation workflows and implement solutions to improve productivity.
Collaborate with supervisors to establish best practices for safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with supervisors to ensure customer expectations are exceeded on every project.
Monitor labor and material budgets to ensure the profitability of the installation department.
Review project margins and implement corrective actions for underperforming projects.
Review and approve timecards, project documentation, and job completion reports.
Provide regular updates to the General Manager on project performance, team productivity, and operational goals.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 5-7 years of experience in both plumbing and HVAC installations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
NATE Certifications (Core, AC Install, Air Distribution, Gas Heat).
Extensive knowledge of plumbing and HVAC systems, tools, installation processes, and codes.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proven ability to manage teams and drive performance improvements.
Valid driver’s license..

Preferred Qualifications

Proficiency in ServiceTitan, Excel, Word, and Google Suite of tools.

Primary Job Function

To provide maintenance and repairs on a wide variety of residential heating and air conditioning systems according to company standards providing the customer with a high quality experience. Responsible for tool and equipment repairs and maintenance in the shop, cleaning of the grounds, parking lots, and other areas. Making sure all jobs scheduled for the next day have all material and equipment pulled and loaded in trucks for installers. List return material when necessary and return to stock. Check and put away stock orders. Maintain shop and yard in a clean and orderly fashion. Assist Installers in loading and unloading vans. Drive and pick up parts. Other projects as needed.
