What Is Trenchless Relining?
Trenchless Relining is a pipe created within an existing pipe without having to dig up a trench from the house to the curb. Or having to remove anything directly above the pipe that is located underground. The relining is created out of a special epoxy that provides the strength of a new pipe without having to dig up existing structure or landscaping.
How Do I Know If The Pipe Underground Needs To Be Repaired?
The first step needed to be taken is to do a sewer video inspection through existing entry points. A camera will be ran through the pipe in question. The camera will show anything that may be wrong with your pipe.
Below is a list of issues that will require repair.
- Root intrusion, through one or multiple points
- Offset pipe joints
- Collapsed pipe section
- Damage to drain clean-outs
- Protruding lateral pipe lines
If the camera inspection show any of these issues, your pipe will need to be repaired.
How Do I Know If Trenchless Relining Is For Me?
If you are dealing with pipe issues in a residential or commercial property, Trenchless Relining is best suited for damaged sewer lines or other pipes located well below 3-4 feet from the surface. Trenchless Relining is often less expensive than traditional pipe replacement, especially when the pipes run below sidewalks, driveways and other landscaping features, which would add to the cost to replace.
