Redlands Bowl Summer Music Festival

Western Science Center Hemet California


The Western Science Center has artifacts on display that were unearthed when nearby Diamond Valley Lake was under construction. The main attractions are life-size recreations of mammoths and mastodons in their main hall. Throughout the year, the center holds events and special exhibits to make sure to visit their website for more information.

Jurupa Mountains Discovery Center


Open 6 days a week, the Jurupa Mountain Discovery Center (JMDC) has 9 acres of botanical gardens with over 10 dinosaur structures. Some which you might have seen off the 60 freeway. With gold panning, rock collecting an Earth Science Museum and a dinosaur walk, there’s sure to be something for everyone to enjoy.

Tom’s Farms


If you’re looking for an awesome place to have a picnic, look no further than Toms Farms in Temescal Canyon. Located right off the 15 freeway near Lake Elsinore, Tom’s Farms has something for everyone in your family. With an array of shopping options, you can choose from wine and cheese to a candy shop. With plenty of shaded areas and trees, you can also sit and relax under the summer sun. They also have a kid-friendly ride area and a duck pond.

Living Desert Zoo Palm Springs


The Living Desert Zoo is located 15 miles southeast of Palm Springs, California. This family-friendly attraction is a breathtaking experience nestled at the foot of the Santa Rosa Mountains and is a worthwhile destination for any weekend getaway.

Fresh Fruit & Yogurt Ice Pops

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 Cups Fresh Bluberries, Raspberries, Strawberries, and Bananas, Mixed
  • 2 Cups Plain or Vanilla Yogurt
  • 1/4 Cup White Sugar
  • 8 Small Paper Cups
  • 8 Popsicle Stick

DIRECTIONS

  • Prep Time: 15m
  • Ready In: 5h 15m
  • 1) Place the mixed blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, sliced bananas, yogurt, and sugar into a blender. Cover, and blend until fruit is chunky or smooth, as desired.
  • 2) Fill paper cups 3/4 full with fruit mixture. Cover the top of each cup with a strip of aluminum foil. Poke a popsicle stick through the center of the foil on each cup.
  • 3) Place the cups in the freezer for at least 5 hours. To serve, remove foil and peel off the paper cup.
